Kiara's POV:
Kiara tossed and turned in bed, her mind a hurricane of conflicting thoughts. As the morning sun painted the room with a golden hue, she couldn't shake off the discomfort that had settled within her. The awaiting meeting with Aarav weighed heavily on her mind.
"Why do I feel so conflicted? Is it the fixed ideas or the weight of family expectations?" she pondered, glancing at the clock ticking away the seconds.
A quick scroll through social media only added fuel to her internal turmoil. Pictures of Aarav, portraying him as the 'mysterious and cold-hearted CEO,' fueled her anxiety. The miscommunications had already begun, a silent war of assumptions and judgments.
Kiara:"Handsome to hai waise and look at those tattoos, oh la la la."
(Translation: Kiara, with a mischievous smile, remarked, "Well, he's definitely handsome, and those tattoos? Oh la la la!")
Kiara braced herself, her cheeks tinted with a hint of pink, and playfully retorted, "Shut up, Kiara!"
Meanwhile, in the Khanna mansion, Aarav faced a similar internal battle. The constant chatter from acquaintances painted Kiara as a demanding and strong-willed individual. The rumors fueled his nervousness, casting a shadow on the upcoming meeting.
Aarav (with a cold tone): "I've heard she's quite the talker. Annoyingly expressive, I suppose .People make their own assumptions. It doesn't matter what they say; I make my judgments when I see things for myself. Let's meet you ,Miss Kapoor."
Later that night in Kapoor Mansion, in Arjun's bedroom.
Arjun (Kiara's brother): "So, you're getting married to this Aarav guy, huh? Hope he's not as boring as you."
Kiara: "I'm not getting married to him as of now, I will just meet him and decide. Oh and, trust me, he's got a personality. Unlike someone who thinks 'dad jokes' are the pinnacle of humor."
Maya (Kiara's cousin): "Well, at least Aarav has better taste than you. Heard he's quite the looker."
Kiara: "A looker with a cold heart, apparently. Let's hope I can warm him up a bit."
Rohan (Kiara's cousin): "Cold heart or not, if he messes with you, he'll have us to deal with."
Kiara: "Thanks, guys. I'll need all the backup I can get."
Aditya (Kiara's younger brother): "Kiara, you sure about this Aarav guy? I mean, you're not settling for someone with zero sense of humor, right?"
Kiara: "Adi, relax! I know what I'm doing. And for your information, Aarav might surprise us all."
Aditya: "Well, if he can make you laugh, he's got my approval. Otherwise, be ready for some serious brotherly interference."
Kiara: "Challenge accepted, Adi. Let's see if Mr. Aarav can handle the Kapoor wit."
Maya: "Kiara, what are you planning to wear? You know, first impressions and all that."
Others in unison: "Oh, not again with this girly drama about what to wear and what not. Get out, you both can do this somewhere else."
Maya: "Okay, fineeee... Kiara, let's go decide your outfit." [They both leave sassily.]
Maya: "So, Kiara, what's the plan for the outfit? Something that says 'I'm successful, confident, and totally got my life together,' right?"
Kiara: "Maya, you always make it sound like I'm going to a fashion show, not a meeting. Chill!"
Maya: "Hey, first impressions matter, right? You don't want him to think you just walked out of a courtroom, do you?"
Kiara: "And what's wrong with that? I want him to know what he's signing up for."
Maya: "Fair point. But let's add a dash of romance, shall we? What about that elegant dress you bought last month?"
Kiara: "Hmm, not a bad idea. A little charm won't hurt."
[Aditya enters.]
Aditya: "Fashion police at work again?"
Maya: "Kiara's got a big meeting, and we're discussing the perfect outfit. Any suggestions, Adi?"
Aditya: "Just don't let her wear those lawyer shoes. You know, the ones that make everyone fear a legal battle is coming."
Kiara: "I can't believe you both. I'll wear whatever I want."
Maya: "Sure, as long as it's not from your 'I'm-about-to-win-a-case' collection."
[Maya and Kiara burst into laughter as Aditya shakes his head, joining the fashion banter.]
Narrator: "As Kiara and Aarav brace themselves for the impending meeting, the air is thick with anticipation. Will sparks fly, or will their differences create an unbridgeable gap?"
