4. Undeniable Desires: The Mafia Boss and the Barista

Forced marriage with the Mafia boss. He is cold to everyone but soft for you.

Liam's POV
INT. MAFIA HEADQUARTERS - NIGHT

The dimly lit room is filled with an air of tension as Liam, a young man in his twenties, stands at the head of a large table, surrounded by his loyal associates. His piercing gaze commands respect, and his stoic demeanor exudes authority.

LIAM: (in a commanding tone);" Gentlemen, we have a problem that needs to be dealt with swiftly and efficiently."

His voice is firm and unwavering, leaving no room for opposition among his subordinates. They nod in silent agreement, knowing better than to question his orders.

ASSOCIATE #1: (tentatively)" Boss, how do you suggest we handle the situation?"

LIAM: (coldly) "We eliminate the threat, of course. Permanently."

His words are delivered with chilling precision, betraying no hint of emotion. To Liam, emotion is a weakness that must be eliminated.

ASSOCIATE #2: (cautiously) "But what about the potential consequences?"

Liam fixes him with a strong gaze, his eyes flashing with a hint of danger.

LIAM: (firmly) "Consequences are irrelevant. Our priority is protecting our interests at all costs."

Despite his ruthless reputation, there's a hint of vulnerability in Liam's eyes, a glimpse of the chaos that lies beneath his composed personality. But in the ruthless world of organized crime, weakness is a luxury he cannot afford.

The associates exchange cautious glances, silently acknowledging the unwavering determination of their leader. With Liam as the head, they know they're destined for victory, no matter the cost.

INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

Liam stands in the shadows, his presence commanding the room as his associates stand at the side of him, ready to execute his orders without question.

LIAM: (coldly) Bring him in.

The associates nod and disappear into the darkness, returning moments later with a hooded figure, their captive trembling with fear.

ASSOCIATE #1: (shoving the captive forward) Here he is, Boss.

Liam steps forward, his gaze piercing through the darkness as he approaches the captive. With a swift motion, he removes the hood, revealing the terrified face of a rival gang member.

LIAM: (menacingly) You made a grave mistake crossing me.

The captive stammers, desperately pleading for mercy, but Liam's expression remains emotionless, his heart hardened by years of betrayal and bloodshed.

Without warning, Liam's behavior shifts, his eyes glinting with a dangerous intensity as he delivers his decision.

LIAM: (coldly) You know the punishment for betrayal.
The atmosphere is tense as Liam stands over the captive, his fists clenched in fury, his eyes on fire with rage.
The captive shrinks before him, fear etched on his face as he braces himself for the coming attack.

Without warning, Liam attacked, delivering a several number of merciless punches to the captive's defenseless face and body. Each strike is filled by extreme anger, a flood of anger and betrayal fell upon the miserable victim.

LIAM: (roaring) You dare to defy me, you pathetic excuse for a man?!

His voice echoes through the warehouse, drowning out the sound of the captive's screams as Liam continues his relentless assault.

With each punch and kick, Liam's rage increases, his curses blended with the disgusting sound of flesh meeting flesh. There's a primal satisfaction in the violence, a therapeutic release of pent-up frustration and resentment.

Finally, tired from his fury, Liam steps back, breathing heavily as he looks at the man he just killed. The captive lies dead and broken on the ground, a gloomy evidence to the consequences of betraying the mafia boss.

LIAM: (panting) This is what happens when someone betrays me.

With a final glare of hatred, Liam turns and disappears into the shadows, leaving behind a scene of bloodshed and chaos. In the ruthless world of organized crime, Liam reigns supreme, his wrath unmatched and his power absolute.

MIA's POV

I wipe down the counter of the café, my mind drifting as I go through the motions of my mundane routine. As a barista, my days are filled with the aroma of coffee and the hustle and bustle of customers coming and going. It's a simple life, but it's all I've ever known.

As an orphan from a middle-class background, I've had to work hard to make ends meet. But despite the challenges I've faced, I've always tried to maintain a positive outlook on life, finding joy in the little things and cherishing the moments of happiness that come my way.

It's just another ordinary day at the café when I first see him. He walks in with an air of confidence, his presence commanding the attention of everyone around him. His eyes meet mine for a brief moment, and in that instant, I feel a spark of something indescribable.

He orders a black coffee, his voice low and commanding, and I can't help but steal glances at him as I prepare his drink. There's something magnetic about him, something that draws me in despite my better judgment.

As he takes a seat in the corner of the café, I can't shake the feeling that our paths are destined to cross again.

And cross again they do, much sooner than I expected. It's late at night when there's a knock on my door, and I find myself face to face with a group of intimidating men. My heart races with fear as they make way for a man who strides into my apartment without a second thought.

"Who do you think you are?" I demand, my voice trembling with anger and fear. "You can't just barge in here like this. I'll call the police!"

He raises an eyebrow at my threat, unimpressed by my bravado. "Go ahead, call the police," he challenges. "Let's see what they have to say."

I hesitate, realizing that I'm dealing with someone far more dangerous than I initially thought. Reluctantly, I take a seat across from him, my hands trembling in my lap.

"What do you want from me?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.

He fixes me with a piercing gaze, his eyes searching mine for something I can't quite identify. "I want to marry you," he says simply, his tone leaving no room for argument.

I scoff at his audacity, shaking my head in disbelief. "You can't be serious," I protest. "I don't even know you."

He leans forward, his expression unreadable. "You will marry me," he insists, his voice firm and unwavering. "Whether you like it or not."

I recoil at his words, my mind spinning with disbelief and indignation. How dare he think he can just force me into marriage against my will?

But despite my protests, he refuses to back down, his determination unwavering. "I will marry you," he declares, his voice firm and resolute. "So just agree, otherwise, I have my ways."

I still reject his proposal, shaking my head adamantly. "I will never marry you," I retort, my voice trembling with defiance.

His lips curl into a cold smile. "Okay, fine," he concedes. "You like to play hard to get? Then let's play."

After that day, he meets me every day, asking if I've changed my mind about marrying him. But each time, I steadfastly refuse, unwilling to give in to his demands.

Then one day, Liam sees me talking to a boy named Alex. His eyes darken with fury as he observes us, his jaw clenched in anger.
End of MIA's POV

.
After some days,
LIAM: (his eyes darkening with fury) Who's that boy you were talking to?

MIA: (taken aback by his sudden intensity) Just a friend, Liam. Nothing more.

LIAM: (his jaw clenched in anger) Don't lie to me, MIA. I want every detail of your interaction with him.

MIA: (nervously) There's nothing to tell. We were just talking.

LIAM: (his patience wearing thin) Tell me the truth, MIA.

MIA: (hesitantly) Well, his name is Alex, and he was... flirting with me.

LIAM: (his rage boiling over) Flirting?! How dare he?!

Without another word, Liam storms out of the room, his footsteps echoing through the hallway as he makes his way to his car.

MIA: (calling after him) Liam, wait!

But he doesn't listen. Instead, he grabs MIA by the arm and drags her forcefully into the car, his grip firm and unyielding.

MIA: (struggling against his hold) Let go of me, Liam! What do you think you're doing?!

LIAM: (his voice low and dangerous) You'll see soon enough.

As they drive to his mansion, the tension in the car is palpable, each passing moment filled with a mix of fear and anger.

MIA: (her voice trembling) Liam, please... What's going on?

LIAM: (his gaze fixed on the road ahead) You'll find out soon, Mia.

Upon reaching his mansion, Liam presents Mia with marriage papers, his expression unreadable as he insists that she sign them.

MIA: (her eyes filling with tears) I won't do it, Liam. I won't marry you.

LIAM: (his tone firm) You don't have a choice, Mia. Sign the papers.

Despite her protests and tears, Mia reluctantly signs the papers, her hands shaking with anger and frustration.

LIAM: (his demeanor softening slightly) You'll have a guest room here, Mia. And I'll arrange for two maids to attend to your needs.

As he walks away, leaving Mia alone with her thoughts, she can't help but wonder what lies ahead in this forced marriage with the cold and enigmatic Mafia boss.

MIA: (fuming with anger) I can't believe he's doing this to me! How dare he force me into marriage like this?!

LIAM: (entering the room) Mia, I've arranged for your accommodations. You'll have everything you need here.

MIA: (turning to face him, her voice dripping with sarcasm) Oh, how thoughtful of you. I suppose you expect me to be grateful now?

LIAM: (ignoring her tone) I understand this is difficult for you, but I promise to make things as comfortable as possible.

MIA: (her anger boiling over) Comfortable?! You think a gilded cage is going to make up for what you've done?!

LIAM: (his expression softening slightly) I know you're upset, Mia. But I hope in time, you'll see that I'm not the monster you think I am.

MIA: (her voice trembling with emotion) You've upended my entire life, Liam. How can you expect me to just accept this?

LIAM: (his gaze searching hers) Because I care about you, MIA. More than you'll ever know.

As their eyes meet, Mia feels a flicker of something unfamiliar stirring within her, a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos of her emotions. Despite her initial resistance, she can't shake the feeling that perhaps, just perhaps, there's more to Liam than meets the eye.

LIAM: (nodding) Take some time to settle in. I'll leave you to rest.

Mia watches as Liam exits the room, her heart still heavy with anger and confusion. But as the days pass, she begins to notice subtle changes in Liam's behavior towards her. He ensures that she wants for nothing, attending to her needs with a quiet dedication that surprises her.

MIA: (tentatively) Liam, why are you doing all this for me?

LIAM: (softly) Because you're important to me, Mia. I want you to be happy here.

MIA: (taken aback by his sincerity) But why me? Why did you choose me?

LIAM: (meeting her gaze) There's something about you, Mia. Something that draws me to you like a moth to a flame.

Despite her lingering doubts, Mia can't help but feel a warmth spreading through her chest at Liam's words. It's a feeling she's never experienced before, a sense of belonging that she never thought possible.

As the weeks turn into months, Mia finds herself growing closer to Liam, her initial anger giving way to a grudging respect. She begins to see beyond his cold exterior, glimpsing the vulnerability and loneliness that lurk beneath the surface.

MIA: (tentatively) Liam, can I ask you something?

LIAM: (nodding) Of course, Mia. You can ask me anything.

MIA: (hesitant) Do you ever get lonely?

LIAM: (pausing, his expression softening) Sometimes. But being with you makes it a little easier.

MIA's heart swells at his admission, a rush of emotion flooding through her as she realizes the depth of Liam's feelings for her. And in that moment, she knows that despite the unconventional circumstances of their relationship, she's found something worth fighting for.

MIA's POV
Slowly but surely, I find myself falling for him, my heart softening in the face of his unwavering devotion. And on the night of his birthday, surrounded by friends and family, I take a leap of faith and confess my feelings to him, my voice trembling with emotion as I declare my love for the man who once seemed so cold and unfeeling.

LIAM: (gently cupping MIA's face) Mia, there's something I need to tell you.

MIA: (looking up at him, her heart pounding) What is it, Liam?

LIAM: (smiling softly) I love you. More than I ever thought possible.

MIA's eyes widen in surprise, her heart fluttering at his confession.

MIA: (voice barely above a whisper) I love you too, Liam. More than anything in this world.

Without another word, Liam pulls Mia into his arms, his lips capturing hers in a tender kiss. In that moment, all the pain and heartache of the past fades away, replaced by the warmth and tenderness of their newfound love.

Their embrace deepens, their bodies melting together as they lose themselves in the sweetness of their kiss.

LIAM: (pulling back slightly, his eyes filled with adoration) You're everything to me, Mia. I'll always protect you, no matter what.

MIA: (tears shimmering in her eyes) And I'll always stand by your side, Liam. Together, we can conquer anything.

As they hold each other close, they know that despite the challenges that lie ahead, they'll face them together, their love a beacon of hope in the darkness.

And with him by her side, MIA knows that she'll never be alone again.
